Dan O'Connor
Deputy Director of Government Affairs
Dan O'Connor is Deputy Director of Government Affairs for the Computer & Communications Industry Association. Before joining CCIA he served as a Legislative Assistant in the New York State Assembly and also was a member of a NIH funded research team that studied Pharmaceutical and Tobacco Advertising.
While at CCIA he has participated extensively in the formulation of the organization's policy positions. In this capacity he created and continues to oversee CCIA's high-tech congressional scorecard, he has co-authored a report on Antitrust in the New Economy, and has had frequent interaction with congressional and regulatory staff on matters of high importance to the technology industry.
Mr. O'Connor received his B.S. in Policy Analysis and Management with a concentration in Consumer Economics from Cornell University where he was a Dean's Scholar.
