Brussels, Belgium — CCIA and other members of the Industry Coalition for Data Protection (ICDP) today issued a joint statement to welcome the improved Privacy Shield text.  Privacy Shield will strengthen transatlantic data flows and provide legal certainty for European businesses and consumers.  It will moreover provide new safeguards which will also apply to other transatlantic data tools.

We encourage EU Member States to support and adopt the Privacy Shield without delay.
