Maud Sacquet is Senior Manager, Public Policy in the Brussels office of the Computer & Communications Industry Association. She is working on digital policy matters (including audiovisual, copyright and the liability of online intermediaries) coming up at the European Union level.
Before joining the CCIA in August 2015, Ms. Sacquet worked for more than five years at Yahoo in Paris, ultimately as Legal Counsel handling marketing matters, advertisement regulations, law enforcement’s demands, and pre-litigation issues (i.e. notice and take down requests, copyright claims, etc.). During those five years, she also supported the Yahoo European Public Policy team on French policy matters (e.g. taxation, surveillance and privacy).
Ms. Sacquet holds a Master degree in Business law from the Institute of Political Studies of Paris (“Sciences Po Paris”) and a Master degree in European Business Law from the University Robert Schuman of Strasbourg. She also holds a LLM degree in Regulation and Technology from King’s College London, where she graduated with merits.
A native French speaker, Ms. Sacquet is also fluent in English and is conversant in German.
